It is summertime, and who wants to spend hours in front of the mirror, applying makeup? Following are some super simple daytime looks that takes just minutes to apply. Now, it is VERY important to start with the proper skin care. If your face tends to be oily, or combination, you need to use a moisturizer that has oil control properties in it. Also with a spf in it. For combination skin, only apply this to the "T-zone". Next, you will want to use a powder form of mineral makeup. It will help keep oil at bay while being good for your skin. Don't forget to tuck a pack of beauty blotters in your bag. o.k, now on to the eyes. I like to use a bronzer on the eyes, along with a highlighter. These bad boys do double and triple duty in the summer, so make sure you have one of each. Sweep the bronzer on the lid and over the crease. The highlighter will go just below the brow bone and in the inner corner of eye to "wake it up". If you want to line the eyes, use an eyeliner brush and brush on some darker bronzer under the eye for definition. Use waterproof mascara in black. Now take the pinker shade of highlighter and sweep just on the top of the cheekbone with a big fluffy brush. Just under that, sweep the darker shade of bronzer in a "C". To finish the look, you can sweep some bronzer or highlighter(depending on your lip color) onto your lips, and finish with a colorless lip gloss. There you go, a "dash out the door" look in 5 min. flat (if you are being pokey). Have a lovely summer! Beauty to you!
